A little more about your data, your AI, and getting started.
Yes. Choose local transcription and Built-in Local AI, or an Ollama instance running on your own Mac, for summaries. Recording, transcription, and summarization can all happen on-device. Download your models first; after that, this local workflow can run offline. Cloud providers are optional.
In the desktop app, choose OpenAI Codex (ChatGPT subscription) as your summary provider and follow the OpenAI sign-in flow. MeetOdds uses the Codex access available to your eligible ChatGPT account, without a separate API key. Available models and usage limits are set by OpenAI. This website does not sign you in or collect your credentials.
The transcript text needed to generate or translate your summary is sent to OpenAI. Audio recording and transcription remain local, but cloud summarization is not offline or fully local. Choose local AI when you need meeting content to stay on-device.
MeetOdds is free and open source. Local AI does not require a paid cloud account or incur cloud AI usage fees. ChatGPT-connected summaries use your eligible account’s Codex access and are subject to OpenAI’s availability and limits. The separate OpenAI Cloud API option uses an API key and is billed separately from a ChatGPT subscription.
